airflix.dev ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the limited circumstances under which it is shared.

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).
Billing information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We store a Stripe customer reference but never see or store your full card number.
Usage data — titles you watch, your watchlist, ratings, and playback position, so we can resume where you left off and surface content you'll enjoy.
Technical data — IP address and browser/device information collected automatically when you use the site, used solely for security and abuse prevention.

How We Use Your Information

To operate and improve the service.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To send transactional emails (receipt, password reset, subscription notifications). We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with any third party for advertising, analytics, or any other commercial purpose.

The only exception is payment processing: when you make a purchase, your billing details are shared with Stripe (our payment processor) to complete the transaction. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

We do not use your data for any profiling, behavioural tracking, or data brokering.

Data Retention

We retain your account and viewing data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Billing records may be retained for the period required by applicable law (typically 7 years for financial records).

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.

Security
