Copyright complaints

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, tell us and a person will look at it — usually within a few days, faster for clear cases.

Send your notice through the contact form (choose the closest topic) and include:

  • What the copyrighted work is (a link or clear description).
  • Where the infringing material is on this site (the exact page link).
  • Your name, and an email address we can reply to.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
  • Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine).

What happens next

If the notice is complete, we take the material down promptly and tell the person who posted it, including a copy of the complaint. They can send a counter-notice with the same elements (identifying the removed material, their contact details, a good-faith statement, and consent to jurisdiction); if they do, we forward it to you, and unless you tell us within 10–14 business days that you have filed a court action, the material may be restored.

Repeat infringement

Accounts and page claims that repeatedly upload infringing material are revoked. Two upheld takedowns is our line.
